iGotchi is your very own interactive virtual pet. However, your iGotchi is more than just a pet, it's a companion and friend. Just like a real pet, iGotchi's eat, drink, play and sleep throughout the day and night. And just like a real pet, you need to provide it with food, water and love. When playing, your iGotchi will respond to your touch. Each iGotchi has a unique personality, different food and water needs, and varying levels of activity. When you get an iGotchi, you take on some responsibility for its health and well-being. iGotchi's are fun, entertaining and unique creatures. Your iGotchi will love you unconditionally and provide you with endless joy and happiness.

WHAT'S NEW IN THIS VERSION:
Please backup your iPhone or iPod using iTunes before upgrading.
- Added a new game. Available in the in Game Store.
- There is now a remote backup/restore service. Moving forward, you'll now be able to backup your iGotchi settings to a remote server. In the event that you lose your iGotchi settings, you'll be able to restore them. This is a free service.
- You can now choose which food or drink item from your pantry you want to give your iGotchi by double-tapping the appropriate icon. If you don't want that item, double-tap again to get a different one.
- You can now see the total number of people participating in Top Gotchi
- The Status and Top Gotchi menu items have been split into two dedicated buttons.
- Minor bug fixes.
